What is it?
It is an opportunity to obtain official accreditation by demonstrating what you are able to do, based on your work experience, services provided through a grant or volunteering, or training that is not officially recognised. You take part in a series of interviews, preferably online, in which you demonstrate professional skills that form part of a professional certificate or qualification.
If you show that you have acquired the units or standards of competence, you obtain an official certification that lets you validate and complete the training for a professional certificate or vocational qualification. An accreditation certificate supports your professional and personal development by improving your CV and your chances of finding work. At the end of the process you also receive guidance on which training path to follow. For companies, it is an opportunity to keep their employees' skills up to date.
